Rugby Tamil Welfare Association invites the community to celebrate Tamil arts and recognise students’ achievements.
Children’s competition
An open Tamil language competition for children. The age-group programme below is shown in Tamil as provided by the organisers.
All interested children may enter; they do not need to attend a Tamil school.
A child’s age is calculated as of 31 August 2026.
External participants: £5 entry fee per child.
Age 3–5
பாடல் — “சாய்ந்தாடம்மா சாய்ந்தாடு”
Age 6–7
பாரதியார் பாடல் — “ஓடி விளையாடு பாப்பா”
Age 8–10
உலகநீதி — “ஓதாமல் ஒருநாளும் இருக்க வேண்டாம்”
Age 11–12
நல்வழி — ஔவையார் பாடல் (நான்கு பாடல்கள்)
Age 13–14
திருக்குறள் — “இனியவை கூறல்” (பொருளுடன் சொல்ல வேண்டும்)
Age 15–16
திருக்குறள் — “நடுவு நிலைமை” (பொருள் விளக்கத்துடன் சொல்ல வேண்டும்)
